Changing your HWID

Your HWID is how we recognise the PC your key is locked to. It’s a scrambled ID made from your PC’s machine ID, not anything personal.

Moving to a new PC

  1. Open Licenses in My Plasmatic. In the app, you can also press Change HWID on the Account page to go there.
  2. Press Change HWID on the key and confirm.
  3. Activate the key on your new PC.

The old PC stops accepting the key, and the next PC to activate it gets it.

How often you can do this

Once a week. If you need to do it again sooner, ask staff on Discord.
